Welcome To The Home Of The Mustangs!
At Maynooth Public School we have been working extremely hard to deliver excellent programming - we have a dedicated community of teachers, supportive volunteers, an active school council, and important community partners sucn as the Hastings Highlands Library and Community Centre, The Algonquin Nation Kijicho Manito, The Metis Nation of Ontario and North HAstings Children's Services. We believe that it takes villages to raise our children. We are committed to working with willing partners to bring community into our building and get out students out in the real world.
The values that I hold true to are communication, character education and community connections. I urge you to contact me if you have questions, concerns or just require further information about your child’s education.
Open communication allows everyone to be on the same page and then work together for a solution that provides your child with the best education possible. Your child(ren)’s success is the reason I am here.
Sincerely, Lisa Resmer
Maynooth Public School Lending Library
As a result of our School Council applying for and receiving a Parent Reaching Out grant, we were able to establish a parent lending library. The collection is being housed at the Hastings Highlands Public Library to provide access to our broader school community. Topics covered include nutrition, helping your child at school, bullying and disciple. Next time you are at the Maynooth Public Library be sure to look over the titles, there is sure to be something of interest.
The Parent Lending Library is a result of Parent Reaching Out grant provided through the Ministry of Education.
