. Bus Note InformationDear Parents and Guardians:
It is the expectation that changes to your child’s dismissal routine will be minimal throughout the year.
Wherever possible, we ask for your cooperation in having your child take his/her regular bus home. As you can imagine, changing bussing arrangements takes a great deal of the secretary’s time. By minimizing bus notes, we help to reduce that time and make sure that your child gets to where they need to be safely. Please consider the following points:
· Requests for students to take an alternate bus for birthday parties and other social functions (Sleep overs and play dates) will not be granted.
· Requests for alternate dismissal arrangements made by phone will not be accepted unless in the event of an emergency (e.g. family illness, unforeseen change in parent’s work schedule).
· Any requests for a change in the regular dismissal routine for your child must be made in writing in your child’s planner.
· Alternate bus arrangements must include (in writing) the following information: full Civic address (e.g. 27 Happy Lane); full name of the person residing at the home that your child(ren) are going to (e.g. Lisa Resmer) and the bus number. Sending a note that says “Lisa is going to Grandma’s tonight” does not provide us with the required information. Please note that pick up and drop off locations will be at EXISTING approved Triboard Transportation stop locations only. Our school does not have the ability to alter bus routes. · If you have more than one child, please ensure the note is in each child’s planner so that all teachers are aware of the change.
Thank you in advance, for helping us reduce the number of daily bus notes . Your cooperation is appreciated.
